La Sorgue, the beautiful river

From the swimming pool to the river, there is only one step ! Enjoy direct access to the Sorgue river, particularly appreciated for its unspoiled decor. La Sorgue is a river to discover slowly, to savor, to feel, and especially : to deserve... The water is clear, transparent, fresh (13° all the year)... a dream ! Ideal for water games, fishing and canoeing. Come join us on the banks of Sorgue River and take a dip in this emerald green water and maybe you will meet a group of ducks. Did you know ? La Coutelière campsite is set on the river banks, offering an idyllic setting surrounded by trees with a panoramic view over the river and several direct, secure and private accesses to the river. This river and its banks are part of the European Natura 2000 network due to the presence of rare species of fauna and flora. The objective of Natura 2000 initiative is to preserve these riches and this rare natural heritage.

With family or friends, go down this river, take full advantage of the passing landscapes and get to know the fauna of this green paradise : ducks, dragonflies, trout, gravling, kingfishers… you will see that it is an amazing moment !
7km family course (duration 1h45mn), halfway break and return by mini bus, open every day from May 15, 2024

fishing

Directly accessible from the campsite, the Sorgue river is a fisherman’s paradise. Fishing in this 1st category river is done with wild fish, from naturalreproduction and particularly wary (brown or rainbow trout, grayling, brook salmon…).
From March 9 to May 17, 2024 – trout fishing only, on the river banks (protection of spawning grounds)
From May 18 until September 15, 2024 – trout and grayling fishing, feet in the water

For 2024 : adult weekly card at the price of 34 euros or day pass at 16 euros and discovery card for children under 12 years old at 7 euros. Possibility to buy a fishing card at The Sorguett shop at Isle sur la Sorgue (4kms) or to buy it online on the website www.cartedepeche.fr
