In 2026 we will be open from April 25 to September 12.
Daily bread available on request one day in advance.
Heated outdoor swimming pool from April to September.
Take-away snack (chips – pizzas) in the evening from 16/05 to 12/09/2026 from Wednesday to Monday (day off Tuesday).

Are dogs allowed on the campsite ? What about my own pitch / rental ?

We accept dogs on a leash : 2 maximum per pitch and 1 maximum (less than 10kg) in Luberon mobile home.
Your pet must be vaccinated, kept on a leash, not noisy and the droppings collected.
La Coutelière has an area for your dog for walking and swimming in the river.
Sorry, 1st and 2nd categories dogs are not accepted. No cats in our rental accommodations.

Is the campsite shady ?

La Coutelière campsite is located in a green area of 3ha, composed mainly of maple, ash and plane trees. Most of our pitches are therefore half shady / half sunny. Please do not forget to tell us if you prefer a sunny place.

Disability access

From the reception to the pool, by way of the sanitary blocks to the multisport area, the whole site is accessible in a wheelchair. We also have a specialized accommodation with 2 bedrooms for people with reduced mobility.

Visitors

No and we are sorry for that.
Visitors, family or friends are not allowed on the campsite, even for short period or on payment of an entry fee.
For insurance reasons, access to the campsite is reserved exclusively for our guests (people registered for a stay).

Is wearing a bracelet obligatory ?

Yes. Wearing a wrist bracelet is mandatory and will be given to you upon your arrival. It provides access to all the campsite’s equipment and services.

Vehicle

Only one vehicle is included in the package, it must be parked on your place. A second vehicle may be parked on the car park next to the reception, as an extra.
Circulation is autorized within the campsite from 8.00am to 11.00pm, outside those hours, a closed night car park is available.

Can I arrive earlier than arrival times ?

If you arrive before 4.30pm (for rentals) or 2.00pm (for pitches), please could you go to reception first to take advantage of all the campsite’s services before settling in.

My stay ends, can I leave the campsite at night ?

The campsite gate closes between 11.00pm to 8.00am.
If you wish to leave after 11.00pm or before 8.00am, please could you park your vehicle in the car park next to the reception. You can then use the pedestrian crossing to exit at the desired time.

What payment methods are accepted at the campsite ?

We accept payments in cash or with a visa/Mastercard banking (or credit) card.

Pitches

Which days are open for arrival and departure ?

Neither arrival or departure dates are fixed by the campsite site, you can arrive and leave any day of the week, depending on availability.
Minimum 3-7 nights booking in pitch according to the period and availabilities.

How many people on a pitch ?

Pitches can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.
For safety and insurance reasons, it is not possible to go beyond the maximum capacity.
If you exceed the maximum capacity (children and babies included), you will need to book a second pitch.

Does my baby counts as one tenant ?

Yes babies and children are counted in the capacity of pitches.

I know the campsite already, can I then choose my pitch number ?

Depending on availability, we will give you the accommodation best suited to your needs according to your equipment, the composition of your family and the constraints of our booking schedule.
If you choose your number or enjoy for 2 pitches side-by-side, a fixed price of 40€ to 55€ will apply per stay.
If you want a specific area, a fixed price of 30€ to 45€ will be applied.
You can write your preference in the ‘comments’ section when booking online.

Does the campsite offer specific pitches for motorhome ?

No, we make no distinction ampong motorhome, campervan caravan and tent. All the pitches are available for any of these types of accommodation.

What is the difference between a 'comfort pitch' and a 'comfort+ pitch' ?

The ‘comfort pitch’ does have an electrical connection of 10Amps (European connector), whereas the ‘comfort+ pitch’ does have an electrical connection of 10Amps, water and sewage disposal.
With an extra fee, you can choose a ‘comfort river’ pitch with 10Amps electricity located directly on the banks of the Sorgue river.

What is an XS pitch ?

The XS pitch is smaller (about 80m2) than another pitch and therefore benefits from a lower price for a budget holiday. For small tent, little caravan without awning or campervan. Please note that an XS pitch is not accessible to equipment over 5 meter long.
It can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and for safety insurance reasons, it is not possible to go beyond this maximum capacity.

Can I rent a fridge, a barbecue ?

We have renting option of a 90L individual fridge on your pitch (63€ per week or 105€ for 2 weeks on-line). Afterwards the rental will be 70€ per week or 119€ for 2 weeks.
Please do not forguet to book in advance, availability is not guaranteed.
The fridge must be sheltered under your tent or awning. Take an extension cord and a CEE connector to connect the fridge to the electricity.
On site, renting a 90L individual fridge on your pitch costs 77€ per week. You can also rent a 40L fridge locker located in the main sanitary block (7€ per night or 42€ per week).
We do not have barbecues for rent, however there are 2 communal charcoal barbecues available.

Do I have to leave a security deposit for my fridge ?

Yes. On arrival, you must pay a security deposit of 180€ only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
If the fridge is not cleaned properly before departure, a fixed cleaning fee of between 10€ and 30€ will be deductible from the deposit.
If the fridge is released in a perfect state of cleanliness, and without missing or damaged material, the security deposit will be returned in full within 2 days.

Arrival times

Camping pitches are available from 2.00pm to 7.00pm.
In high season, late arrival possible until 8.00pm by warning us.

Departure times

On the day of departure, pitches must be vacated before 11.00am at the latest.

Deposit

A deposit of 40% of the amount of reserved services must be paid to confirm the reservation (100% for short stays).
Please note that bank transfer, iDEAL payment are accepted up to 3 weeks before arrival date, then payment only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
No reservation will be confirmed without a deposit.

Balance

For pitches, the payment of the balance is to be made no later than 30 days before the arrival date, it must be paid to confirm the stay.

Rental accommodation

Which days are open for arrival and departure ?

How many people in a rental accommodation ?

In our rentals, you can stay up to 4 people, depending on the model chosen.
For safety and insurance reasons, it is not possible to go beyond the maximum capacity.
If you exceed the maximum capacity (children and babies included), you will need to book a second rental accommodation.

Does my baby counts as one tenant ?

Yes babies and children are counted in the capacity of rentals. For example, we cannot allocate you a Cottage for 4 if you are, in reality, a family of five (even if the fifth is a baby).

I know the campsite already, can I then choose my rental number ?

Depending on availability, we will give you the accommodation best suited to your needs according to the composition of your family and the constraints of our booking schedule.
If you choose your number or enjoy for 2 rentals side-by-side, a fixed price of 80€ will apply per stay.
If you want a specific area, a fixed price of 55€ will be applied.
You can write your preference in the ‘comments’ section when booking online.

Can I install our own tent in the garden of the accommodation ?

No sorry, for reasons regarding insurances, and in order to preserve the peacefull atmospher appreciated by the surrounding tenants, it is forbidden to add a tent next to an accommodation.

Are dogs allowed into the rentals ?

Yes, we accept 1 maximum dog (less than 10kg) in Luberon mobile home (9€ /night).
Your pet must be vaccinated, kept on a leash, not noisy and the droppings collected.
La Coutelière has an area for your dog for walking and swimming in the river.
Sorry, 1st and 2nd categories dogs are not accepted as well cats in our rental accommodations.

Are bed sheets and blankets included ?

No, you must bring your own sheets or blankets. When booking, you can rent cotton sheets (13€ /single bed or 16€ /double bed on-line) and light blankets (15€ /bed / change).
After that, the rate will be 15€ /single bed or 18€ /double bed for sheets and 16€ /single bed or 18€ /double bed for light blankets.
In case of necessity (very dirty or missing linens), an extra will be charged.
Each bed is equipped with pillows, disposable pillowcases and mattress protectors.

Are bath/hand towels available for rent ?

Towels are not included in your rental. You must bring your own towels or you can rent a towel set at the same time of booking (9€ /person /change).
After that, the rate will be 12€ /person.
In case of necessity (very dirty or missing towels), an extra will be charged.
We do not rent pool towels, please bring your own.

Can I rent a baby kit ?

Yes, at the time of booking, you have the option to rent a baby kit including a travel cot, a mattress and a high chair (28€ /week).
After that, the rate will be 35€ per week.
We do not rent bed linen, please bring your own baby sheets.
A safety deposit of 80€ by Visa or Mastercard credit card will be required.
Please do not forguet to book in advance, availability is not guaranteed.

Is the accommodation's cleaning included ?

No, you must do the end of the stay yourself.
If the accommodation is not cleaned properly, a cleaning fee will be charged in addition or deducted from the security deposit (a fee between 100€ and 200€, plus a 25% increase in the cleaning fee in effect on the date of your stay).
The rental must be cleaned and tidied, the dishes cleaned, dried ans stored, the bins and the fridge emptied and cleaned.
Or, when booking your stay, you can add the End-of-stay Cleaning Fee option, which will be done by our teams (from 95€ to 150€ depending on the chosen accommodation). The rate will be increased after the balance has been paid.

What does the "end-of-stay cleaning" extra include ?

The “cleaning” service includes end-of-stay cleaning of the bathroom, kitchen and all the rooms in the rental.
The cleaning fee does not exclude returning the rental suitable condition : dishes (clean, dried and tidy), fridge and microwave (clean and emptied), bins emptied and floor swept.
If necessary, a supplement will be charged.

Do you have TVs in your accommodations ?

The accommodations we offer are not equipped of a TV.
TVs are not available for rent either. Still, the WiFi connection covers the whole of the campsite.

Is the accommodation equipped with AirCo ?

Yes, in 2025 all of our rental accommodation will be air-conditioned to enjoy the cool summer months and the warm during the off-season.
The reversible air conditioning system runs on renewable energy : it uses the calories present in the outside air to cool the rental in summer or heat it in spring or autumn.
Registered in a Green Key eco-label approach, all our accommodations are all new or relatively recent, very well made with roller shutters in the bedrooms (except for the Patio riverside cottage) and reinforced 4-season insulation.

Is the accommodation non-smoking ?

Yes, all our rental accommodation is non-smoking.

Arrival times

Rental accommodations are available from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
In high season, late arrival possible until 8.30pm by warning us.

Departure times

On the day of departure, rental accommodations must be vacated by 9.30am at the latest.

Deposit

A deposit of 40% of the amount of reserved services must be paid to confirm the reservation (100% for short stays).
Please note that bank transfer, iDEAL payment are accepted up to 3 weeks before arrival date, then payment only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
No reservation will be confirmed without a deposit.
For rental bookings made less than 45 days before arrival date the full payment must be made at the time of booking.

Balance

For rentals, the payment of the remaining balance is to be made no later than 45 days before the arrival date, it must be paid to confirm the stay.
Please note that bank transfer and iDEAL are accepted up to 6 weeks before arrival date, then payment only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
Failure to pay the balance within the specified time cancels the reservation and the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.

Do I have to leave a security deposit for my accommodation ?

On arrival, before handing over key rental, you must pay a security deposit of 400€ only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
If the rental is not cleaned properly before departure, a fixed cleaning fee of between 100€ and 200€ will be deducted from the deposit (25% surcharge on the cleaning fee in force on the date of stay).
If the rental is returned in a perfect state of cleanliness, and without missing or damaged equipment, the security deposit will be returned in full within 5 days.
For any delayed departure, an additional day may be charged at the price applicable for that night.

Equipments and facilities

Swimming pool

The aquatic area is open every day from 10.30am to 7pm with extended hours in summer (10am – 8pm).
The large pool is heated from the opening to the closing of the campsite.
The aquatic area is private , unsupervised and children under 10 y.o. must be accompanied by a parent.
As a hygienic measure, only one-piece swimsuits or traditional bikinis for women and swim suits or shorts for men are allowed.
Wearing the bracelet on the wrist is compulsory for all.
Access is not allowed to visitors or anyone exterior to the camping site.

Tennis - Pingpong - Boules' pitch

The tennis court is available for free as well as the petanque court and ping-pong tables.
We do not lend balls or rackets, please remember to bring your own equipment.
Unauthorized access for anyone exterior.

Barbecue allowed ?

2 communal charcoal barbecues are freely accessible, next to reception.
On your pitch and under supervision, electric or gas barbecues are allowed, they must be placed on the ground. For rental accommodation, they must not be placed on wooden terraces.

Bread - Grocery - Snack

To make your stay easier, we offer fresh bread and pasteries every day, on reservation one day in advance.
On site, you will find an assortment of ice creams, cold and hot drinks, regional products and wines, a grocery store with essentials and a breakdown service for fresh products.
From 16/05 to 12/09/2026, you will also find a take-away snack (chips – pizzas) open evenings (day off Tuesday) from 6.00pm – 7.30pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm from 11/07 to 21/08 : order at the desk, without reservation and no table service.

Electric or hybrid vehicle

We have a charging station that allows you to safely charge your electric or hybrid vehicle.
This accelerated charging station has a three-phase charging capacity of 11KW in : 10€ per charge.
Charging on pitches or on rental accommodations is prohibited for safety and insurance reasons.

About the Wi-Fi ?

Free 30 minutes / day and per device.
Paid WiFi access is on sale at reception (15€ per week or 22€ for 2 weeks). The whole campsite is covered by this WiFi connection.
In addition, free Hotspot on the terrace near the reception.

Booking / Payment / Cancellation

When to book for 2026 ?

We will be open from April 25 to September 12, 2026.
Reservation for the new season will begin on December 12, 2025 for rentals and around December 19 for pitches and General Sales Conditions and prices will be available a few days before on the website. In very high season, for a rental accommodation or a pitch by the river, we recommend that you book before March.

How to check availability and calculate the price of my stay ?

To know the exact price on the requested dates, you just need to simulate an online reservation. Once your dates of stay have been selected, the available accommodation and rates will be displayed (excluding options and cancellation insurance).
By booking your holiday directly and as early as possible, you benefit from the best prices and a selection of the most popular accommodations. Rates change as the season progresses. The rate applicable to your stay is the rate in effect on the day of booking. A rate update will be issued for any reservation changes.

How to make a reservation ?

You can book your stay online by making a reservation on our website : it is simple, fast and payment by credit card secure.
The following information will be requested : family name, first name, birthdate of each person, address, telephone number (to manage your arrival), mail (to send booking) and dates of stay.
The reservation is confirmed after agreement of the campsite and after payment of a deposit of 40% (shorts stay 100%).

Can I book by email or phone ?

We do not accept reservations by email or phone. Availability changes too quickly.

Can I book without credit card ?

Yes online, by choosing the method of payment ‘bank transfer’ or ‘iDEAL’.
We make a provisional booking upon receipt your internet booking form. The campsite’s bank details will be sent you by e-mail. You have 5 days to confirm this provisional booking by paying the 40% deposit (100% for short stays).
Please note that bank transfer, iDEAL are accepted up to 3 weeks before arrival date, then payment only by Visa or Mastercard credit card.
No reservation will be confirmed without a deposit.

What type of Campers comes to La Coutelière ?

We do not provide entertainment, most of our guests are couples or families with young children looking for nature, comfort and tranquility. Our clientele is mostly European, still we are proud to welcome Canadians, Americans, Australians people…
Our small structure does not allow us to receive groups in the campsite.

What is a group ?

They are different physical people but known each other and move together for the same motivations.
Any request for more than 2 accommodations (pitch or rental) is considered a group reservation.
For the 3rd family, you must contact the campsite in advance by e-mail. The campsite reserves the right to study the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.
If a group were to book without announcing themselves, the campsite reserves the right to interrupt the stay at any time, without giving rise to compensation.
Our small campsite cannot accommodate more than 3 families and we are sorry for that.

Are minors accepted ?

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

How to modify or cancel a stay ?

Cancellation insurance

Cancellation insurance is optional but recommended. Because no one is safe from the unforeseen, take out Campez-Couvert insurance with our partner Gritchen and go on holiday with peace of mind for only 3% of the amount of reserved services.
Refund of your stay in case of death, accident, serious illness (including Coronavirus), hospitalization of the insured person or of a close family friend… for more details, please see the General Cancellation Insurance Campez-Couvert.

Local taxes

With extra : 0,65€ per day and perperson ver 18 years old in tourist tax and 0,35€ per day and person person in eco-contribution of waste reprocessing (waste water, houshold waste and bulky recyclabes).

We are commited to enhancing the natural landscape in which the campsite is located, which makes it so attractive and to protecting its biodiversity. To this end, we have surrounded ourselves with experts to support us in this mission : the Luberon Natural Park with its strong commitments to respecting nature and obtaining the “Valeurs Parc” label, the Syndicat Mixte du Bassin des Sorgues to identify and maintain the remarkable trees growing on the campsite, the Betterfly Tourisme certification to measure the environmental impact of an overnight stay at our campsite and the “Green Key” label to encourage us to innovate and question our practices each year.

Can I move around the campsite without a car ?

The campsite is located in a rural area, it is served in summer by bus.
Line 921 Isle sur la Sorgue – Coustellet stops in front of the campsite from July 5 to August 31, 2025.
There are 3 return trips per day, including Sundays, to the villages of Lagnes, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue, Coustellet and Maubec.
Provencal markets along the road : L’Isle sur la Sorgue on Thursdays and Sundays, and Coustellet on Sundays.
Connections are available on routes 914, 915, 917, and 918 to Apt and the Luberon.

Are there car-free trails around the campsite ?

Yes, directly from the campsite a 7km GRP hiking loop takes you through the scrubland to the village of Fontaine de Vaucluse and its source.
Still from the campsite, a 5km walking path takes you along the Carpentras canal to the village of Lagnes.

What is the nearest train station ? nearest airport ?

The nearest TER station is Isle sur la Sorgue 6km or the Avignon TGV station 28km.
The nearest airports are Marseille Provence airport in Marignane 70km and Nîmes Garons airport 75km.

What is the nearest village ?

The closest villages are LAGNES and FONTAINE de VAUCLUSE, located 2km away.
The small town of ISLE sur la SORGUE is located 4km away.
GORDES, classified among the most beautiful villages in France, is located 12km from the campsite.

Are there supermarkets or shops near the campsite ?

Yes. 2km away, in Lagnes, you will find a little supermarket, a butcher, a baker and a pharmacy.
4km away, in Isle sur la Sorgue, there are 3 supermarkets open daily with a 24/7 gas station and other stores nearby.
And every day, enjoy provençal markets in the surrounding villages.

Can I fish at the campsite ?

Yes, La Sorgue river runs alongside the campsite. Fishing is authorised in this river of piscicultural 1st category from the 1st week-end of April to the 3rd weekend of September.
Fishing licenses are on sale at the Sorguett shop in Isle sur la Sorgue or online on the Vaucluse Fishing Federation website www.cartedepeche.fr

Can I swim in the river ? are there mosquitoes ?

You benefit from direct access to the river from the campsite, for swimming or canoeing. There is no lifeguard on duty. The water is crystal clear and cool… around 14°C even in summer.
When it comes to mosquitoes, we barely have any considering the fact that the river is cold, running or not stagnant.

Do you offer bicycle rental ?

Not on the campsite directly, however we do work with several bike rentals : Truji Bike Luberon, Mondovelo and Kvelo in Isle sur la Sorgue. Or Absolut Bike Provence and Luberon Bike Rental in Coustellet/Maubec.
Still, there is a possibility to be delivered on the campsite.
